On September 15, 2023, the Regulation of the Council of Ministers regarding the minimum wage and the minimum hourly rate for 2024 was published in the Official Gazette.
Starting from January 1, 2024, the minimum wage will be increased to 4,242 PLN gross per month. Another planned increase in the minimum wage will occur on July 1, 2024, with the minimum wage set at 4,300 PLN from that date. There will also be changes in the hourly rates, reaching 27.70 PLN at the beginning of the year and 28.10 PLN from July 1, 2024.
The increase in the minimum wage will also lead to further increases, including an increase in the health insurance contributions for entrepreneurs.
The regulation will come into effect on January 1, 2024.
